The future is as bright as the promises
of God, the latter shall be greater
than the former, and a living dog
is better than a dead lion.

HURTING PEOPLE
Destiny! Is not a glass menagerie
of carbon-copied Christians, but
a hospital healing hurts.
7. DIVERSITY
God made a diverse planet with diverse
people, and Destiny! seeks unity,
not uniformity, and desires to reach
all people without making all people
seem like one.
8. CREATIVITY
The Holy Spirit is the Master of
Creativity, and we seek to do a
new thing in and for Christ. Art
is just as important as science.
9. INFORMALITY
On men, jackets and ties are optional
and on women, pants are just as
fine as skirts or dresses. Man looks
at the outward appearance, but God
looks at the heart.
10. SIMPLICITY
Administrative bureaucracy, micro-management
and technical language is out: accountability,
simple organization and liberty
in the Spirit are in.
11. TRANSPARENCY
Honesty is way more important than
perfection.
12. BRIDGE-BUILDING
Bringing different communities and
people together is important, and
Jesus has given us a ministry of
reconciliation.
13. URBAN
CULTURE
The life, language, looks and lyrics
of the city are beautiful to us.
14. HEALING
THE CITY
Our goal is a glimpse of the New
Jerusalem in Washington, D.C.
15. GLOBAL
JUSTICE
As much as we do for the least of
these on planet earth, is as much
as we do for Jesus himself in heaven.
